Lambert Celebrates Customer Appreciation Week
Airport retailers, partners and airlines plan weeklong events for passengers

(St. Louis) In conjunction with National Travel and Tourism Week, Lambert- St. Louis International Airport is excited to designate May 5-11 as Customer Appreciation Week.   

Lambert staff, partners and airlines have a week of special events planned with live music, giveaways and special appearances.  Passengers can expect random surprises while riding the shuttles to and from the airport parking lots thanks to Lambert partner Super Park.  Monday, Lambert staff and partners will proudly showcase their musical talents on the Entertainment Stage in Terminal 1.  Performances will be held Monday and Thursday in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Tuesday will be Mascot Day.  Passengers will have the opportunity to meet and greet mascots from the St. Louis Cardinals (Fredbird), St. Louis Rams (Rampage), St. Louis Blues (Louie) and Six Flags WB characters Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny.  Customer Appreciation Week is for mom, dad and the entire family as they fly in and out of Lambert Airport.  On Wednesday, Airlines Day, each carrier will thank passengers with candy and other giveaways.  Customer Appreciation Week will conclude with treats from The St. Louis Convention and Visitor’s Commission and performances from local bands. 

Here’s a complete schedule of events:

Monday (May 6) – Live Performances- Terminal 1

10:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. – Guitarist Lupe (Pasta House)

1:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m. – Singers/Duet Amanda Honkomp and Saddiyah Brady

Tuesday (May 7)-Mascot Day

11 a.m. – 12 p.m. – US Bank Captain Shield (Terminal 1)

12 p.m.-2 p.m. – Six Flags/WB Bugs Bunny & Daffy Duck- (Terminal 2)

12 p.m.-St. Louis Blues Louie (Terminal 1)

3 p.m. – St. Louis Cardinals Fredbird (Terminal 1)

3 p.m. – St. Louis Rams Rampage (Terminal 1)

Wednesday (May 8)-Airlines Day

The individual airlines will hand out candy and other surprises for passengers at the gate.

Thursday (May 9) – Live Performances-Terminal 1 & 2

10:30 a.m. – 11-45 a.m. – Pianist Bryan Johnson (United Airlines)-Terminal 1

12:30 p.m.-1:15 p.m. – Singer Ric Louis (TSA) – Terminal 1

1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Singer Dana Washington (United Airlines)-Terminal 1

1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Saxophonist Readus Miller (Shoe Shine)-Terminal 2

Friday (May 10) – Live Performances by Local Bands-Terminal 1 & 2

1 p.m. – 3 p.m. – Jon Thomas & Friends- Terminal 1

1 p.m. – 3 p.m. – Bottom Up Blues Gang-Terminal 2

4 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Beth Bombara- Terminal 1

4 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Tommy Halloran Quartet-Terminal 2
