September Meeting- The Monocoupe

The Missouri Aviation Historical Society met on Thursday, September 19th at it’s usual meeting spot- Creve Coeur Airport. This month’s meeting featured a low-key and relaxing presentation by Vice President Albert Stix Jr. on the history and local significance on the Monocoupe. Images, rare video (that was mysteriously dropped off at the airport years ago), and a live viewing of an actual Monocoupe rounded off the presentation.

The Monocoupe on display is kept as one of 49 planes at the Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum, located on site at the airport. To view more information about visiting this wonderful site, click here!

A special thanks to Albert Stix and everyone at Creve Coeur airport/Restoration Museum for their hard work and continuous hospitality.
