Check out some great photos from MOAVHIST members Joe Gurney and Myron Lane of recent spotting’s around the St. Louis area. Recently, an effort by the St. Louis aviation community went underway to restore a vandalized McDonnell F-101 Voodoo in Florissant Missouri. In addition, visits by the Tuskegee Airmen restored P-51 Mustang and “Despicable Blimp” have caught the eyes of young and old alike around the state. Lastly, we have caught up with some great Stearman’s and John Lohlmar’s Reno Racer T-6 out at Creve Coeur airport. Efforts to keep these legendary machines flying are one of the best ways to connect people with aviation’s past. You can find out more information about the legendary historic aircraft restoration museum out in Creve Coeur in our links section.
