You can view an excellent write-up, and more photos from our July 2013 meeting, which focused on the McDonnell XF-85 Goblin. The meeting featured presentations, a film, and comments by the sole remaining McDonnell employee who worked on the project, Mr. Les Eash. An original wind-tunnel model was put up for display by the Greater St. Louis Air and Space Museum. This meeting’s attendance was around 60 persons, and took place at Creve Coeur Airport. Photos unique to this post are provided by Chase Kohler, Myron Lane, and Joe Gurney.
